Curator's Statement:

​

In 2016, I moved to Philadelphia from NYC to setup a ceramics studio and collaborate with friends and artists in “The City of Brotherly Love.” Fast forward to 2021 and I am grateful to have met a community of talented artists and creatives. I am inspired by the gritty DIYers that makeup the fabric of this intrepid city’s vibrant culture. For this exhibition, I have chosen a group of Philadelphia associated artists and artworks to survey and share a small slice of the Philadelphia creative landscape that I can see from my view.

When I wake up in Philadelphia each day, I look east from my apartment window towards the sunrise and NYC. On clear days, I can see New Jersey from here.
